An intake that only works when the client has every document ready, in one sitting, at a desk, fails on a phone at 11 pm. Part 3 is the set of changes, shipped in August, that let the intake work at the client's pace.
Skip now, add later
The client can skip any document the chat asks for and add it later. A case file that has already been sent stays open for late documents.
Come back
Before the intake starts, the client confirms their email with a six-digit code or with Google. A returning client picks up where they left off instead of starting again.
Any language, your English
The client can write in any language, and the intake answers in it: the questions, the checklist and their own timeline. The picker offers eight languages to start in. If the client writes in another, the chat switches to it.
In Dubai and in New Zealand, a firm's clients come from many countries. The case details the lawyer reads stay in English.
Add from the panel
The case file panel shows what is still missing, and the client can add a document from there, not only when the chat asks.
The small things
Enter sends. Long answers stay visible while being written. Every wait shows progress, so nobody presses a button twice.
See it working
Walk through the client intake yourself, in any language. There is no sign-in.
