What shipped for lawyers, part 5: a memorandum you can check

ShareLinkedInXFacebookالعربية

A drafted memorandum saves time only if checking it is faster than writing it. Part 5 is the set of changes, from late August and September, that make the draft show its work. Memorandum drafts are on the Practice plan.

Part 5 in twenty-six seconds: every citation in a draft is checked, and the lawyer's notes become a new draft. Turn the sound on to hear it.

A register, not a guess

Every statute number in a draft is checked against Sidqo's register of UAE legislation. Anything the register cannot confirm is listed under Points to check, above the draft.

Every path that writes a memorandum goes through the same check, so no draft can skip it.

The law and the article

The draft names the law and the article it relies on, not just "the Labour Law".

A second opinion that never rewrites

Each draft gets a second read that lists what to check, such as a date that does not match the timeline or a citation to confirm. It lists, and leaves the draft alone.

Add notes, get a new draft

Highlight a passage and add a note on what should change. Sidqo then writes a new draft that addresses every note at once.

The lawyer owns the format: export the draft as Word and change it as you like. The record owns the facts.

Documents that name themselves

After a document is read, it is named for what it is, so the case file reads "Employment contract" and "Final settlement", not IMG_4471.JPG. Exhibit letters freeze on the first export.
