SIDQO
Sidqo for LawyersNew Zealand

Every case arrives organised

Your firm gets its own link, yourfirm.sidqo.com. Clients explain their matter in a guided chat and upload their documents. You open a clean case file instead of chasing emails, screenshots and attachments.

No legal advice is ever given to your client by Sidqo. The advice is yours.

  • Client intake in 8 languages
  • Documents read on upload, scans included
  • Cases by link or by email
  • Memo drafts for you to check

The first hour shouldn't be admin

  • 01The story arrives in pieces.

One phone call, three emails, a forwarded screenshot, and the employment agreement still hasn't turned up.

  • 02Deadlines don't wait.

The 90 days to raise a personal grievance, Tenancy Tribunal timeframes, visa expiry dates. Time spent gathering facts is time taken from the matter.

  • 03Free first chats add up.

You want to help everyone who calls. Not every call needs to start from zero.

01Intake

Three ways a case comes in.

Whichever way the client reaches you, the matter lands as one case on your dashboard, with the documents attached.

Your firm's link

yourfirm.sidqo.com opens a guided chat in English, Chinese, Hindi, Tagalog, Arabic, Urdu, Bengali or Malayalam. Your client confirms their email with a 6-digit code or Google. There's no app to download and no account to create.

Your intake address

Clients email their documents to [email protected]. The first email with a document opens a case. Every later email from that address joins the same file, with quoted replies stripped out.

A case you open

Add the client's name, phone and email. Sidqo writes to them in your firm's name, and their reply, attachments included, files itself on the case.

02Reading

Sidqo reads the documents, so the client never retypes them.

Every upload is read the moment it arrives, photos and scans included. The assistant only asks what the documents leave open.

  • Facts lifted from the page

Dates, parties, amounts and reference numbers go straight into the summary and the timeline.

  • Their language, your English

A client can write in Tagalog or Chinese. You read the summary, the timeline and the memo in English, and the client's own words stay in the conversation log.

03Case file

A case file that builds itself.

Summary, key facts, timeline and documents, sorted before you open the case. You start from the file, not from a thread of attachments.

  • Documents name themselves

IMG_7302.JPG becomes “PPI letter, Immigration New Zealand” on screen and in every export.

  • Exhibit letters and page counts

Each document gets a letter and a page count. Letters and Bates numbers freeze on first export, so your references stay put.

  • Late documents still land

After sending the file, the client can add what was missing. You get an email for each one.

  • One dashboard for every matter

Stage, area of law and the date each case arrived. Search, or filter by area.

  • Export what you need

The documents as one Bates-numbered PDF, the memo as a Word file, and the conversation log as Markdown.

04Memo

A first-draft memo, ready on arrival.

Once the client sends documents, the draft is waiting. It is written from the summary, the conversation and the text read from each document. It's a starting point you edit, not advice you rely on.

  • Marked for you to confirm

The draft cites no New Zealand legislation yet. Where a provision decides a point, it writes [statute to confirm], and Points to check flags it.

  • A second opinion

A separate review reads the draft against the case file and quotes each passage it would question. It never rewrites your draft.

  • Comment, then revise

Highlight passages, leave comments, and revise the draft in one pass. Export it to Word when it reads right.

05Assistant

Ask the case file.

The case assistant works from the case file and the text read from each document. Ask what is still missing, get a summary before a call, or have it draft a message to the client. When it updates the case details, the timeline or the memo, it labels the edit and tells you what changed.

Privacy

Your clients' information

The intake collects and organises. Your lawyers read the file and decide what happens next.

  • Where it's stored

Case files and documents are stored with Supabase in London, UK. The app runs on Vercel in the United States. The AI models that read case files are run by Anthropic and Google, outside New Zealand. Nothing is stored in New Zealand or Australia today.

  • Who can see it

Only the people at your firm you give access to, and anyone you choose to share a case file with. Sidqo staff don't read case files except to fix a problem you've asked us to look at.

  • AI training

Your clients' information is not used to train AI models.

  • Deleting data

You can export a matter at any time and remove documents from it. To delete a whole matter, ask us and we'll delete it.

  • No legal opinion to clients

The intake assistant gathers facts and documents. It never tells your client what the law is or what to do.

  • Clients see their own file

A client sees their facts, documents and timeline. The memo stays with you.

Built with New Zealand firms, not just for them

Sidqo started in the UAE, where it helps small firms take in employment, tenancy and family matters. We're now working with a small group of founding firms in Aotearoa New Zealand to shape the NZ version: the intake questions, the document checklists and the legislation the memo draws on.

Founding firm offer
  • Free during the pilot
  • Your own branded link, set up for you
  • A direct line to the founder, so your feedback shapes the product

There's no self-serve signup yet. Each firm is set up by hand.

FAQ

Questions from firms

Does Sidqo give legal advice to my clients?

No. The assistant gathers facts and documents and acknowledges what the client says. It never tells them what the law is or what to do. Advice comes from you.

Does it know New Zealand law?

The intake and case file work for any matter today. The memo draft is being extended to New Zealand legislation with our founding firms. Always check any draft against the legislation before relying on it.

What does it cost?

It's free for founding firms during the pilot. We'll agree pricing with you before the pilot ends, and nothing renews automatically.

How long does setup take?

We set up your branded link and dashboard for you, usually within two working days.

Can my clients use it on their phone?

Yes. It's built mobile-first, so clients can upload photos of documents straight from their phone.
