About Sidqo
Sidqo is AI for small law firms. A client explains the matter in their own language, on their phone, and uploads documents that are read as they arrive. The lawyer gets an ordered case file and a drafted memorandum before the first call, then works the case with an AI that knows every page.
The New Zealand version is built for employment law. It tracks the 90-day personal grievance window, and the intake runs in English, te reo Māori, Samoan, Tongan, Punjabi, Hindi, Chinese and Tagalog. Sidqo is built and run by its founder, Akhil Joy.
The role
You introduce Sidqo to employment firms and advocates across New Zealand. You find the firms, show them the product on their own cases, sign them, and stay close as they go live. This is a part-time role, a good fit alongside practice or consulting.
What you'll do
- Build a list of small employment firms and advocates, and meet them online and in person.
- Run demos on real or sample matters, and sign firms to a monthly or annual licence.
- Onboard each firm with me: their intake link, their branding and their first cases.
- Bring back what firms need, so the product fits New Zealand practice.
Who you are
- You know New Zealand employment law: as a lawyer, employment advocate, or someone who has sold to these firms.
- You have a network among small firms and advocates.
- You can give 10 to 15 hours a week, with a fortnightly call and a shared pipeline.
- A connection to Māori or Pacific communities is a strong plus.
How you're paid
This is a founding role, paid on a revenue-share basis.
- Revenue share: 20% of what each firm you sign pays Sidqo, for that firm's first 24 months. Paid monthly, once the firm has paid.
- Equity: Founding options, vesting over four years with a one-year cliff.
- Next: When Sidqo raises its seed round, I plan to add a part-time retainer.
You work as an independent contractor under a written agreement. There is no base pay in this phase.
